Lepidolite is a lilac-gray or rose-colored member of the mica group of minerals and is a comparatively rare mineral, usually associated with other lithium-bearing minerals. It growth structure is scaley in nature, but it's multiple layers result in a beautiful pearly, silvery reflection coming off of its deep pink and purple tones. These exquisite gentle colors are the product of traces of manganese impurities within the chemical makeup of the stone.
