Credit Card Payment:
Prior to shipping, we will place a credit card authorization hold for the full retail of the order. If you choose to keep the item, the payment will be completed. If at the end of the 5-day period you choose to return the item, the hold will be released once the jewel is received and inspected to be in its original pristine condition. Please know, if you do not return the item following the grace period or the item is damaged in any way, we will charge the card on file to compensate us for the damage or loss.
How is this Service Impacted by COVID-19?
We are stringently following WHO and CDC guidelines for handling of items to ensure everyone’s safety. This includes all precautions recommended for the handling of the jewel prior to and during packing. Any gems that rank lower than 5 on the Mohs (meaning they are soft and/or porous) or that we otherwise determine are not suitable for this program, are noted as such and cannot be offered “on approval.”
The jewels are insured by Daria de Koning during shipping to you and back to us. However, while in your possession, you are responsible for the safe care and handling of the item regardless of cause. If the jewel arrives to you damaged in any way, please notify us immediately at sales(at)dariadekoning.com, otherwise we will assume you received it in good order.
Our “On Approval” option is intended to give you the needed time to determine whether you would like to keep a jewel in your collection. We feel 5 days is a reasonable time-frame for consideration and will accommodate getting the items returned, should that be your decision. Therefore, all sales are final.
All Daria de Koning pieces come in our signature red leather boxes or padded pouches within our signature red box-bag with white tissue and ribbon handle.
Sales tax is applicable on all orders shipped within New York or California at the current local rate. Orders shipped outside of NY state or CA state are not liable for sales tax. For all international sales, local duties and fees will apply whenever applicable at the most current rates.
Daria de Koning offers complimentary, fully insured shipping within the U.S. via FedEx.
Orders can be placed at any time via www.dariadekoning.com and are processed within 24 hours of receipt, Monday through Friday. Please note that purchases made after 2pm (PST) on Thursday will be shipped on the following Monday. A signature is required for all shipments at the time of delivery.
Currently we are only able to accept online orders to shipping addresses within the United States, Canada and the UK. We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes. For orders exceeding $75,000-, armored car service is available upon request.
Jewels in pristine and undamaged condition are eligible to be returned for shopping credit or exchange within 5 days of receipt. All custom pieces and special orders are final sale. Store credit will be issued via a personalized online code for future purchase(s).
How Do I Return An Item?
Please contact us by email (sales(at)dariadekoning.com) or phone within 5 days of receiving your order to obtain a return authorization number first.
Daria de Koning, Inc. is not responsible for return merchandise lost or damaged in transit. We therefore suggest that you insure all parcels. Please carefully pack your return to avoid any damage during transit. Items must be shipped to us in original packaging in pristine condition. C.O.D. deliveries are not accepted.

At Daria de Koning, quality and craftsmanship is of our utmost concern. If you should experience the need for repair on any piece of Daria de Koning jewelry, please contact sales(at)dariadekoning.com. Please include your name, address, order number and repair issue.
Daria de Koning will repair at no charge any breakage caused by manufacturer defect within 120 days of receipt of purchase. Repairs after 120 days or deemed to be caused by misuse will incur a repair charge at the customers expense. Repairs will be assessed on an individual basis and communicated prior to the repair process beginning.
The periodic inspection of your jewelry purchase is the best way to safeguard against potential problems. Regular upkeep of your jewelry is required to maintain integrity of your pieces. This includes paying for any normal repairs required due to accidental damage or abuse.
If you would like a ring resized, please make a note of it in the checkout or call us at 1-310-873-3236. Please allow an extra 2-5 days for resizing before your order ships. Please note that resized or altered pieces cannot be returned or exchanged.
Daria de Koning is pleased to offer both hand and machine engraving. Please contact us for pricing and details. Please allow an additional 7-14 days for delivery of engraved items.
Daria offers custom design services, stone brokering as well as resetting of customer-provided stones. We welcome customers to discuss custom work in the Los Angeles studio or as Daria travels. Custom work generally start at $3,000 (does not include cost of stones).

Images and Photography
Some items may appear slightly larger or smaller than actual size due to screen defaults and photography techniques. Other items may be represented at a larger than actual size in order to clearly show details, or smaller than actual size in order to show the entire item.
